Founded in September 2008, Project-Blu aims to be the go-to source for Blu-ray information, reviews, and deals. Our focus is for the everyday person on a budget, in addition to those who want the best of everything. Founded in September 2008 by Nate Boss and Randell Gresham, Project-Blu started by providing information on pre-orders as well as reviewing movies that were often overlooked by the "big guys." Years later, Project-Blu has grown tremendously. Along the way we've added staff and we've added function, all while shifting the focus from niche titles to now being the go-to source for everything Blu-ray. Currently, we reside in what we call Project-Blu v4, the fourth stage in Project-Blu's evolution. Part of that evolution was to expand our horizon by creating an easier site to navigate, adding more articles, and covering high-definition gaming content. All these features are great, but we're not done yet. We have dedicated staff that continues to beef up Project-Blu to bring you more of the greatest and latest. Remember, Project-Blu is 'for the people, by the people' and we continue to take that motto very seriously.
Adam Adair The sport fanatic of the bunch can also be found taking long walks on the beach, and enjoying romantic dinners for two (four if you count his cats). But do not let the romantic look in his eyes fool you, as Adam spends plenty of time enjoying video games, movies, and books. Nate Boss Every site needs a ranting, raving lunatic...no, wait, they don't, but this site has one! Nate is the co-founder of Project: Blu, a Blu-ray/Video Game/DVD/Book reviewer, an avid Call of Duty player, an opinionated jerk, and most importantly...the owner of one of the most perturbed senses of humor out there. Nate hates blockbuster summer movies, loves World War II films, and thinks that awful films should be looked at as comedies. Ryan Cummings Details Coming Soon! Bob Garrett Bob is the movie guy. Whether it be his multiple trips to the theater a week, or his collection at home that he loves to review Bob can be found enjoying movies. Jack Hunt Jack is currently studying at Stevens Institute of Technology, pursuing his Masters Degree. With a shared passion for journalism and film history, he has been writing most of his life and is currently working on his third Novel. His focus is on continuing his education, while spending free time with his lovely wife and beautiful children. Gerard Iribe Gerard is a writer/reviewer/moderator for Project-Blu. When not writing and reviewing, Gerard can be found watching Blu-rays and enjoying what life has to offer. Tom Landy Details Coming Soon! Erik Lowe Nick McMahan Nick is a 2004 graduate of Purdue University with a degree in Industrial Technology and works as an Industrial Engineer. He currently resides in Indiana with his wife and two cats. He is an avid Pittsburgh Steeler fan and loves mixed martial arts. In his spare time he enjoys film and video games. His favorite gaming genres are stealth action, action adventure, first and third person shooters, Western RPGs and platforming. Erin Michniacki Erin is a mother, a movie lover, a writer, and now even a teacher. When Erin isn't swamped with the nine million other things going on, she can be found enjoying a movie with her husband. Iggy Michniacki Iggy is a full-time father, full-time manager, and a full-time husband. During his down time, Iggy spends as much time possible watching movies. Iggy enjoys classic cinema as well as catalogue titles and new releases. Ben Nguyen Ben has an extremely strong love/hate relationship for the Metal Gear Solid franchise and loves all things Batman. Currently, Ben works in informational technology and is pursuing his MBA, though enjoys playing games and writing reviews on the side. If he's not playing games, then he's probably watching a movie or is at the movies which is also a passion of his. Will Santana Will has always wanted to review film. He is currently a student at Columbus State University majoring in filmmaking. He also writes for Whysoblu.com and Thereelplace.com. In his spare time Will takes care of his daughter and loves basketball. If Will is not watching a movie, he is more than like watching his New York Knicks, New York Jets or his New York Yankees. Jamie Shuhyta Science teacher by day, movie reviewer by night, Jamie brings years of movie watching/reviewing experience to Project-Blu. Jamie has always loved movies, his thought is who doesn't? Well a few years ago Jamie decided to look past the popcorn and began looking deeper into what Hollywood was giving us. He first started writing for intotheblu.com and then transitioned over here, to Project-Blu. "I've always felt Project-Blu was a better fit for me, as our reviews always come off as 'real.'
